1. What approaches to/methods of design production have you developed and how have they informed your design development process?
The 'What Is Design For Print?' brief has given me the opportunity to explore a range of methods of print production which I have never tried before such as; laser cutting and embossing. Which in turn has made me more confident in using the facilities and I was able to put this knowledge into practice, using this screen printing process to produce my final outcomes for the 'What Is Design For Print?' brief.
2. What Strengths can can you identify in your final outcome(s) and how have/will you capitalise on these?
I personally believe one of my strengths within the final outcomes that I produced for the 'What Is Design For Print' brief is that I explored a different format for the information rather than just producing a book of regurgitated information.
3. What weaknesses can you identify in your final outcome(s) and how will you address these in future?
I think my main weakness in the final outcomes I produced for the 'What Is Design For Print?' brief was the actual production of the leaflets as I tend to rush this part of the design process and the finish is not as professional as I would have liked.
4. Identify three things that you will do differently next time and what do you expect to gain from doing these?
- To improve the finish of my final outcomes, next time I will give more time and attention to detail when it comes to the production aspect of the design process and I believe some of the leaflets could have been produced to a more professional standard.
