For my third competition brief as part of the Responsive module, I have chosen to apply to the 'Secret 7"' Brief which asks us to design and submit a design for a 7" vinyl cover for one of five pre-selceted songs, however the design must not include the artists name or the title of the song thus making it a secret.
I chose to do the Secret 7" brief, which I applied for last year as compared to the D&AD brief I had just completed it would be a relatively small brief to apply for. I also felt that trying to design a record cover with out the artists or track name would be a interesting challenge.
From my experience of work on the last two briefs, I found that by analysing and breaking down the brief was extremely beneficial to me when re-writing the brief to my own specifications therefore I repeated the process for this brief.

Five Things You Need To Consider
- How can the track / artist be represented purely by imagery?
- What is the main message of the song?
- Who are the fans of the song / artist?
- What aesthetic will represent the song most appropriately?
- How can I draw the attention of the audience?
