As the research I had collected in response to study task one was quite vast and covered several topics in terms of my chosen subject I decided to create a spider diagram to specifically define what would be the content of the publication I am required to produce for studio brief one.
Once I had decided that I wanted to produce a publication specifically focussed on beer culture such as; pub crawls, beer festivals etc. in the format of 'review' I was able to collect the relevant research - primary and secondary - which on this subject which would form the content of my publication.

THE MONOPOLY PUB CRAWL
- The route encompasses all 26 streets and stations on the Monopoly board, leaving out the Electric Company, Water Works etc
- The mother of all pub crawls takes in all 26 London streets and stations on the Monopoly board
- Much like the game, it takes all day to complete
- Attempted in board order, it begins south of the river at 11am and finishes at around 11pm in, of course, Mayfair
Before you pass GO!
- Collect £200 (actually, this whole day will cost you about half that)
- Make sure you buy a Zone 1-2 Travelcard (I don’t trust the OysterCard for this)
- Dress as though you were going to a Mayfair club (because eventually you will be, and you don’t want to be refused service at that point)
- Familiarise yourself with the Monopoly Board, and the London Map
- Drink slowly, travel carefully, and stop for meals!
- Forget all about the details in the mad dash towards Mayfair!

SEVEN-LEGGED BAR CRAWL
- This annual Nottingham extravaganza happens at the end of October
- Legend has it that when Sir Jesse Boot donated the land that would eventually become Nottingham University to the city in 1921, he passed on one tradition: that the students forfeit their studies once a year to partake in frivolous fun
- Almost 100 years later, the tradition is a phenomenon
- The rules are simple: teams of six, all in matching fancy dress, are tied together while a seventh member is charged with dashing to the bar
- Last year more than 6,000 people took part: mostly students, who are encouraged to raise money for charity
- Most impressively, 7-Legged isn’t just highly regarded amongst Nottingham Students but worldwide
