OUGD503: Responsive Design Process 2 - Competition Brief 5: Tiger Print, Final Outcome

From the various techniques and medias I experimented with I felt the photography worked best as it really displayed the texture of the objects I would be photographing which would work well as a pattern.

As a requirement of the brief was that the pattern must be black and white, therefore I placed my original photograph in Illustrator and used the image trace tool which traces the basic shapes of the image yet still had the texture from the original photograph.

From this vector image I was then able to create and experiment a variety of different pattern designs before deciding on one final design which I would then submit to Tiger Print.
