OUGD503: Responsive - Studio Brief One and Two Final Critique

As this was the final point of feedback on our work before the module submission we were asked to bring along all the work we had produced in response to both studio brief one and two.

We began the critique by displaying our boards for the collaborative practice brief presenting the work we had produced as a creative partnership. We were then asked to look around the whole room at all the collaborative work produced by the group leaving feedback on the effectiveness of the boards and the design work in the form of post-it notes.

Overall the feedback me and Charlie had received was positive on both our boards and our design work was positive. With only one piece of  small constructive feedback, suggesting we refine a couple of the letters on the box backs which would be easily done.

Following the critique of our collaborative work, we were then able to receive feedback on the work we had produced in response to the first studio brief of the module, Individual Practice.

We began by discussing - in groups of three collaborative partnerships - the particular areas we wanted to receive feedback on regarding our design, we then as a class made a definitive of criteria for feedback:

1. Consistency / effective layout of boards (presentation)
2. Project management - How do you evidence it? Have you evidenced it? Is their enough evidence from the time available?
3. Have you answered the brief? If not, why not?
4. Visual quality and technical ability
5. Suggestions for improvement and why?
6. Evaluation of work, what works, what doesn't and why?

These criteria were then formed the basis of the feedback we received in the form of Peer Feedback Forms filled in by the other two collaborative partnerships.
